Address searching in CAS 360 is now powered by Google!

In this day and age, we have all come to increasingly expect processes to be frictionless. However, in a lot of applications, a simple function like address entry remains one area that can be both time consuming and cumbersome for users.

The brains of the CAS 360 team have come together with the use of the Google API to provide you with a solution.

All address fields are now integrated with Google Places. Google Places can reduce friction in the address entry process by providing a single, quick entry field with type-ahead address prediction that can be used to automatically populate a full address form.

When you enter into the Autocomplete entry box and begin typing, a list of address suggestions appear:

With your addresses now being powered by google, what does this mean for you?

  • Reduced address entry errors
  • Decreased the number of steps in entering addresses
  • Simplified address entry experience on your mobile or wearable devices; and
  • Significantly reduced the total time required for you to enter addresses

Why does CAS 360 want to know your location?

When you log into CAS 360 you may start to see this pop-up.

This is used by Google in order to serve better address search results.
The Address search powered by Google will still work even if you don’t allow access.
