Overview
As of the end of 2024, ACRA has phased out the Alternate Address, replacing it with the new Contact Address Regime.
This affects both officers and shareholders.
The contact address can now be added to contacts in CAS360. This can be done via the Global Contacts screen, or when adding the contact to a company (if the address is missing).
Navigation
From the Main Toolbar, go to Contacts | |
Select the contact |
Select
From the drop-down menu click addresses.
Under the Address type drop-down, select contact address.
In the New Address field, enter the address (if the address is not in CAS360, you will need to create it by clicking ).
Then select .
Adding the Contact Address in the Add Officer screen
If the contact being added as an officer does not have a contact address, then CAS360 will show a warning.
Click 'Please add them here' to open a new pop-up.
From here, the contact address can be entered, as well as any other missing information.
Once done, click .
Documents supported by the Contact Address
The following documents have been updated to include the contact address:
- Company Change Summary
- Company Registration Summary
- Register of Nominee Directors
- Register of Officers
- Consent to Act
- Annual Return
The following documents have been updated to support ${officerContactAddress} field:
- Consent to Act as Director Form 45
- Consent to Act as Secretary Form 45B
- Return giving Officers Particulars Form 49
- Nominee Directors Notice
For shareholders, only individual contacts will use the contact address on the following documents:
- Share Certifcate
- Application of Shares
- Allotment Journal
- Declaration of Trust
- Notice of Beneficial Ownership
- Share Transfer Form
- Share Transfer Journal
